My name is Kevin Fichtner. As a new owner, I am very much looking forward to the owning and running of Padgett Business Services. The former owner, Bonnie Powers, has done an excellent job of serving the clients and I am happy to say she will be involved in the company for the immediate future on a consulting basis. I like people very much and especially those running small business. This is the engine that helps grow our economy.

I would like to help my clients by being not only their bookkeeper and their accountant, but a trusted advisor on helping them to grow their businesses. These business men and women have the knowledge to run their businesses and I want to make their lives easier by taking the paper work from their daily lives so they can focus on what they do best.


Kevin Fichtner

Kevin worked for 20 years in banking, the Bank of Nova Scotia in Saskatchewan, McLeod Credit Union in Fort McLeod, Alberta and Co-operative Trust Company in Saskatoon, Sk.  In the last 10 years, he has held Controller roles in a number of public and private companies in Alberta and Saskatchewan.

He holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA), and he is Associate of the Credit Union Institute of Canada (ACUIC), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA)


Bonnie Powers ?

Bonnie is a successful results oriented Certified Management Accountant with comprehensive business experience. Currently, Bonnie is working with another accredited Padgett office in Alberta to provide the final financial statement and income tax return package to her clients. For the past 20 years she has held a variety of finance, accounting and business position in a wide variety of businesses and industries. Bonnie has been involved in management information systems, inventory management, strategic planning, human resources, information technology, administration as well as finance and accounting. She is a resourceful problem solver and a source for ideas that work. Bonnie is passionate about helping others achieve their potential and business owners to reach their goals.
Bonnie is active in the business community and is involved in the Certified Management Accountant’s Strategic Leadership Program as a moderator.
